Sick Day

No post yesterday - I got sent home from school early with a fever. The nasal swab at the doctor's office ruled out the flu so the official diagnosis is upper respiratory infection. Feeling a little better today.

January 2nd

Still working out the bugs on my spending tracker app for the iPhone. Problem is user error, not with the program. Had a wonderful lunch today with friends and ran some errands. I'm still working out my goals/resolutions for 2011.

Knitting

One of the things that I will be tracking with this blog is my creative projects, especially my knitting and quilting. I started a helmet liner today using this pattern http://knitting.about.com/od/hatpatterns/a/helmetliner.htm in Cascade 220 Superwash wool, color 862, walnut heather. This is my third one so it should go pretty quickly.

My First Post

New Year's Resolution #1 for 2011: Start a personal blog. My biggest dilemmas were focus (fiber arts, finances, food) and an appropriate name, along with a design. I let these dilemmas keep me from starting this blog earlier. Perfectionism is paralyzing. So, I start today with a standard template and design, a general title which will allow me to write about anything and everything, and one thing checked off my to-do list for today. Happy Reading!
